Heritage Expressed in its Highest Form.
Made slowly and with purpose by Irish hands, each rug carries the imprint of where it was finished. Our workshop is in Fahan, at the edge of Lough Swilly, within sight of An Grianán Aileach and the carved cross slabs of Fahan Mura.
When the craft is carried out in a place so deeply tied to the symbols that inspire the designs, the result feels different. Each piece becomes the convergence of land, heritage and craft, a rug that speaks of Ireland not only through its motifs but through the place and people who brought it into being.
Cut and Shaped by Hand
Each piece is cut one at a time, measured by eye by a skilled craftsman with over 40 years experience.
Backed with Irish Linen
We hand cut and apply each piece of 600gsm Irish twill linen, bespoke fitted to each rug.
Hand-Guided Binding
Every edge is fed by hand into our binding machine in Donegal. It moves slowly, guided stitch by stitch to create a smooth, continuous edge. The finish is crisp, strong, and unmistakably artisanal.
Corners Finished by Hand
Each corner is hand sewn, ensuring they are perfectly square and never fray or unravel.
